1. What sports are the most popular in your country?

Well, I must say it depends on the of people. You know, for young people like me, we like to play sports that are physically demanding like tennis, or soccer. The reason is that we play sports to get fit, to stay healthy, to get in shape, so we need to run a lot, to move around a lot. Old people, however, tend to play sports that are not too physically demanding like Tai chi or because their joints are stiff and inflexible so it’s not a good idea for them to move around a lot, I think.

2. Where do people in your country go to play sports?

Well, I think it depends on the area where people live. Citizens of big cities usually flock to leisure centers at weekends to play various kinds of sports. I would say the reason is that they have the necessary for the sports that people like to play. Like for example, if you want to play tennis, the centers have tennis courts for you with a hard surface, nets, and balls for you to play.

If people live in remote areas far away from the cities, I suppose they can only play in the open field because of the lack of stadiums and . But you know, instead, there are a lot of wide open spaces that people can use to play sports. So, it’s not that bad for them I think.

3. Do you think it’s important for people to have hobbies? Why?

Yes, I think people need to have hobbies because to do things we enjoy in our spare time. In my case, I find that playing football once a week with some friends helps me to , keep fit and forget about work. I think it's the same for everyone.

4. Are there any hobbies you think are not worthwhile?

I suppose some people think some things are a waste of time, but it’s hard to make that for other people. I don’t like building ship models, for example. I can’t think of anything more boring than that, so for me, that would be a real waste of time. But another person might get a lot out of an like that. So I think that as long as a hobby is enjoyable to the person who does it, and doesn’t cost too much money, we can’t say it’s not worthwhile.

5. Why do people have hobbies?

I think the biggest reason people have hobbies is to . Another reason is that people have different kinds of interests, and hobbies give them a way to those interests. For example, I like art, so I paint as a hobby. People who like music might learn to play the guitar or sing in a local choir. People who like flowers might garden as a hobby. Hobbies give people ways to express different aspects of their personalities and develop different abilities.

6. What hobbies/free-time activities are popular in your country?

Well, there is certainly a wide variety of hobbies in my country. Though I think the most popular would be traveling. And the for this could be that people can take it easy after a long hard working week. Furthermore, it’s a good time for all family members to see and visit new places together. Other common hobbies would be music or sport. And the main characteristic of these is that both music and sport help people to unwind after a day. Additionally, there are many-others, such as reading and playing board games but they are not as widely enjoyed as the first three I mentioned.
