1. How do you think a person can find the right balance between work and family?

That’s a very good question, and in all honesty, I’m not actually that , but thinking about it, I suppose one way would be to set a limit on the amount of time you spend working each day. So in other words, you should make sure to enough time to be with your family every day, which means not working crazy hours. Of course, on certain occasions, it might be unavoidable, for example, if you have to go on a business trip or something like that, but most of the time, I would say it’s perfectly possible to achieve a good balance.

2. What changes have there been in recent years in employment in your country?

I think there have been many changes in the types of jobs that people do nowadays compared to 20 or 30 years ago. First of all, there are much fewer jobs related to heavy industry such as or ship building or even manufacturing. Secondly, there has been a big in the number of jobs in the service and leisure industries like shops, gyms, and hotels. And finally, since the launch of the Internet there has been a big surge in the number of jobs which require advanced skills such as web development, design, and IT.

3. What technology or equipment is used in most workplaces nowadays?

In most workplaces, people use equipment such as computers, phones, , fax machines, and photocopiers. I think the computer is probably the most essential piece of equipment because we rely on it for almost everything, for example communicating by email, writing reports, organizing data, and searching for on the internet.

4. What are some of the important things a candidate should find out before accepting a job?

Well, this is an interesting question. If I were offered a job, I would definitely go through the company’s such as salary, allowances, maternity or paternity leave, insurance, pension plans, vacations, etc. Also, I’d need to know about my area of responsibilities so that I can make sure that I will not be overwhelmed with workloads down the road.

5. Some people say it’s better to work for yourself than to be employed by a company. What’s your opinion?

Well, I used to be a employee & felt very stressful. To be specific, most of the time, I had schedule & was up to ears in heavy workloads to meet deadlines. Therefore, although running my own business is really challenging, I do feel far more comfortable with it.

6. Which jobs are the most respected in your country?

In my opinion, these are professional positions such as in the fields of law, medicine, and engineering. Usually, parents encourage their children to undertake such careers, because working in these domains, one always has a nice salary and bright perspectives in life. I specifically respect doctors, since they are not only professionals but also people who dedicate their lives to helping others.
