1. Describe an activity that is good for your health.

Getting fit and is everyone’s concern and I am no exception. To be honest, I’ve been so caught up in my work ever since I graduated, so I have little time to , and as a result, I’m not as supple or agile as I used to be and I begin to feel stiff and sluggish first thing in the morning.

So I decided to take a dance class not long ago to try to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Dancing is a great and sporting choice because anyone at any age can take part. It is more demanding that it appears as it involves all the parts of my body. Dancing requires not only balance, strength, and , but also cognitive ability, adaptability and concentration to move according to the music and partner, artistry for graceful and fluid motion, and memory for choreography.

Besides, this dance class is the perfect setting to make new friends as I’ve got a chance to meet up with lots of new cool people and be able to branch out socially.

By maintaining a schedule of taking part in the dance class on a basis, I feel extremely relaxed and full of energy after the class. It helps me to keep fit and refresh my mind after a long stressful day. And of course, I don’t see myself stopping practicing this activity any time soon.

2. Describe a piece of art that you like.

To talk about my favorite piece of artwork, I would like to pick “Young Woman with Lily” by To Ngoc Van, one of the most painters of Vietnam.

The painting is my favorite as it has excellent artistic value and everytime I see it, I have a great feeling of satisfaction. It is an oil painting of a young woman dressed in a white Ao Dai sitting next to a vase of white lilies. It was created in the early 20th century and it is considered one of the most classic artworks in the Vietnamese history of art. , I had a chance to admire the original painting in the National Gallery. The masterpiece portrays a young woman in Ao Dai, tilting her head towards the lilies. The dominant color of the picture is white but it isn’t boring at all. The alignment of light and different shades of white mix and a little sadness to the picture.

Beside the beauty of women wearing the traditional Ao Dai, this picture also describes the elegant pursuit of old Hanoians, which is displaying lilies. In conclusion, this painting is a great artwork which needs to be preserved and it may be a good idea that youngsters now have the chance to admire classic pieces of artwork like this.

3. Describe an article that you read from a magazine or from the Internet about healthy lifestyle.

Today I want to share with you one of my most favourite articles of all time named “Ten ways to live longer”, which was in the Guardian – a very famous British magazine, and is, in my opinion, a must-read article about human health and well-being.

I believe that the people become, the more they will care about their health. The first surprising thing I noticed about this article was about the country with the longest life expectancy, which was Japan, for both and women. The question is, how do they do it? Well, apparently Japanese people simply have regular health check-ups and pay close attention to hygiene in every aspect of their lives. Avoiding a sedentary lifestyle is one of the golden rules of good health, yet this is still a major problem in many countries around the world. In other words, get your running shoes on and never just all day. Another major point I learnt was that you should get your blood pressure checked regularly because high blood pressure is the number one factor that leads to early death and years of poor health.

According to the article, the ten things to do or avoid included some things like, not smoking, eating seeds and not junk, drinking in moderation, , and not getting stressed, which all seem quite obvious but can certainly change your life if you follow these rules. You don’t need to do strenuous or vigorous exercise in order to have better health. Simply drink a little bit less each day, add a little bit more vegetables to your diet and do something as simple as carrying your heavy shopping bags instead of using the trolley to improve your muscle strength at least two days a week.
