Verb + to-infinitive/ Verb + V_ing__

Một số động từ đi kèm với to-infinitive: decide, agree, manage, refuse, offer, ...

E.g: I decided to take a vocational GCSE.

Một số động từ đi kèm với V_ing: mind, avoid, deny, admit, keep, …

E.g: You should avoid giving short answers during an interview.

Một số động từ có thể đi cùng với to-infinitive và cả V_ing mà câu không thay đổi về nghĩa: start, begin, continue, …

E.g: Some students have already started preparing for the world of work.

Một số động từ có thể đi cùng với to-infinitive và cả V_ing nhưng sẽ khiến câu bị thay đổi về nghĩa:
